KVItems is, by default, a schema-free data storage. You can easily define any property you like.
However, it is recommended to stick to best-practices and reuse established keys where possible. These keys are arranged in modules. Some special keys are interpreted and have a meaning. Others will just serve as payload and it's up to user applications to interpret them.
